This 1957 Ford Thunderbird recreation car is a great way to own a lasting beauty. This car has the removable 'porthole' hardtop just as the original ones had. Drive train is solid and the car drives great! It is Titled and Registered as a 1957 Ford Convertible. It is built with all Ford components and powered with a 5.0 V-8 motor,3 core aluminum radiator,HEI Distributor,electric fuel pump with regulator. Power steering,Power Brakes w/discs in front, A/C,. A company called Regal Tbirds makes resto mod Tbirds. They sell them for $65,000.00. No thats not a typo You can go to the website regaltbird.com and check it out for yourself. They are bad a$$ rods. I wouldnt do this to an original Bird, but will do it to this one if I keep it.
"THIS IS NOT A REGAL" but is an exellent recreation of the 57 Bird that can be driven as is or made to look like the Regals. Also its not $65,000 either. Would like to trade for nice street rod, hot rod, or Corvette but will look at others.I really like this car so Im not in a hurry to get rid of but if the right deal comes along who knows?
